Testing my new Copic Ciao markers. Just got a 36 pc set (purchased a few more additional colors). These are a shitload of fun!!! I had a great time drawing/painting these three little portraits.
I have a feeling I'll be using less and less photoshop for coloring, Copic markers are way more fun! :-)
Indy - my first test
Nathan Fillion - aka Richard Castle. Love watching the series :-)
Stana Katic - this girl is crazy beautiful!!! The likeness is not too good, but nevertheless, I had a great time draing this one

Some sketches from these last few weeks..
Seems like when I draw from imagination, I tend to make the eyes always the same, need to do a whole lot more eye studies ..
charcoal on paper, some refs used for proportions' sake
rapid 10-15 min sketch from imagination for practice and fun
sanguine on paper, no refs
messed up the eyes - sanguine on toned paper
a messy sanguine + acrylics portrait. A photo of Maria Mena was used for ref at the beginning, but I totally lost the resemblance at some point..
I got a few more on their way, hope I can finish'em this weekend, I'll post some more sketches pretty soon
